Trip to Dublin

We took the train from Kildare into Dublin. Then we took the streetcar to Grafton Street. We ate at the Bison Bar and then walked down Grafton Street and saw musicians and buskers.  We went through St. Stephen's Green to see the ducks (guck gucks) and of course stopped at a pub to have a milk.

More new friends

We were invited to an Indonesian dinner at Derek and Sari's house. Their kids, Toya and Lewis let me jump on their trampoline, play with their toys, and wear their shoes!  Lewis' shoes were my favorite!

Music night

Caitlin played the tin whistle and low whistle for me and then let me play with her. Christina let me play the guitar with her.

Japanese Gardens and The Irish National Stud

We visited the Japanese Gardens and Irish National Stud today.  I got to pet one of the foals.

The Burren and Galway Bay

After leaving Doolin we drove along the coast through the Burren. The Burren is a karst-landscape region or alvar in northwest County Clare, in Ireland. It is one of the largest karst landscapes in Europe.
We stopped at Monk's Pub in Ballyvaughan for lunch and then headed home to Kildare, with a quick stop at the Barack Obama Plaza.
