A day to play

It was a hot day in England! We decided to stay at Paul and Jo's house and play in the backyard. My new friends had the best toys!  They had cars to ride, a bouncy house, a water table, a swing set, and slide! I had the best day!!

My new friend, Holly

When we got to Wickford I met my new friend, Holly. She shared her dolls and strollers with me, she pushed me in the police car, and she shared her favorite books with me. I really like her!

Train ride to Wickford

I had so much fun with Thomas on the train ride to to his house in Wickford.

Thames River Cruise

There's Paul, our third tour guide.

Cruising.

The Millennium Bridge, aka the Wibbly Wobbly Bridge.

London Bridge

Daddy is giddy about the architecture. This is the Shard (like shard of glass).

This is Mommy's favorite, The Tower Bridge.

I decided to take a snooze the whole way up the Thames River.

Tower of London

Mommy and Paul. They have known each other since 1993 when they met at The University of Greenwich.

I had so much fun with Thomas and Finley.

I caught the sites on the return trip.

Paul and the boys took us on a river cruise up the Thames.  We passed under so many bridges! Well, I caught them on the return trip because I took a snooze all the way to Greenwich, where we turned around. I had fun playing with Thomas and Finley.

Trip to London

At the train station in Lille, France.

Our train went very fast!

Helping Mommy write in my journal.

Only minutes in London and I was seeing the changing of the Guard!

Buckingham Palace

They even have ducks in London!

The London Eye

7/30/14  Mommy, Daddy, and I took the Eurostar (high speed train) from Lille, France to London, England to visit Paul, Jo, Thomas, Finley, and Holly.  Paul and the boys met us at St Pancras Station in London and then we took the London Underground to see the city.  We saw the changing of the Guard near Buckingham Palace and then walked through St. James' Park, past Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament to Westminster Pier where we were going to take a Thames River Cruise!
